like let’s say that UU and uu do share a body.
and let’s say while UU is asleep, she chains uu with a lock only she can open and when uu is asleep he chains UU with a lock only he can open so that neither of them can get away/further their own agendas/break the rules of their game. UU doesn’t want uu to wreak havoc, uu doesn’t want UU to…interfere? Help? Be the dominant personality? I don’t know.
let’s say that uu believes that if the UU identity were dead, he would be both stronger and free, which is why he’s so intent on killing her. So, perhaps he sets a trap for her dreamself and that’s the equivalent of suppressing her ability to wake up, something like that. Then, he cuts off his leg to be free of the cuff.
He is finally free to wreak all of the havoc he wants, and his sister can’t stop him. That’s when he becomes Lord English.
So how do you defeat him? I’m guessing it would have to involve bringing back UU somehow. Whether it be by calling her name, kissing her corpse, or some other means, then uu is either once again weakened, not really Lord English but just a bratty kid who gets worked up over handholding.
Obviously this is just a theory but MAN it would be awesome if there were some Jekyll and Hyde parallels
